It was just a routine lunch trip to Flagler County airport, but while our RVs were burning 8GPH, the PBY was eating up 125GPH....setting a new record in the cost of hamburgers.
We picked up a T-28 enroute to boot. Who says RVs and warbirds don't mix? I'm in the yellow RV-4 and Pat is in the red and white RV-7.

Pat Lee and I, members of the Dreamland Squadron, flew fighter cover for Charlie Clements in his PBY the other day. Also joining us was Roy Lewis, a Chapter member building an RV-8. Roy flew one way in the PBY, the other in Pat's RV-7, and is responsible for most of the photos below.
